Esoteric Knowledge NFT Collection

This is our first NFT series done for Wu-Tang Clan’s Killah Priest and Tha Mark of Buddha (Hip-Hop producer) in 2022. We created a collection of 100+ NFTs for this project (the 3D microphones above) which granted any NFT owner a certain percentage of royalties and other unique perks and utilities.

We used the OpenSea NFT marketplace platform to mint and host this collection. We also did a preliminary run on Rarible, minting only a few of the assets.

However, due to a lack of understanding about the value of Blockchain technologies in Killah Priest’s team and community/fan base, we eventually discontinued the drop/launch to conduct several interviews on his podcast to educate his audience on the value of NFT collectibles and other Web3 technologies. Albeit the majority of his following were still too speculative as this was during the time a lot of “NFT” scams and rug pulls were taking place.

From that experience, we’ve learned how to better translate Web3 and Blockchain terminologies to neophytes as well as better deliver on the presentation of such unique assets and technologies.

We now aim to shift our focus back on servicing Web3 and Blockchain integration in the existing music industry, for both small or independent artists and labels, as well as for major labels and artists with our platforms and vinyl pressing services.
